House Ammonite

2012-2013 - in progress - Benevento, Italy

 

Restoration of an old country house, AD 1747. The building is made of local irregular stone and earth with unique and ancient techniques. The interior walls are made of a crossover of willow branches mixed with earth and mortar. The stones of the outer walls are connected by the same mix. This limestone rocks include many fossils of ammonite.
